With only two episodes left of American Horror Story: Coven, viewers will finally discover the identity of the next Supreme witch of the Coven.

As current Supreme Fiona's (Jessica Lange) powers continue to leave her body, a new Supreme will rise. There are only a few candidates left who could rise to this position, but it may not be who viewers think.

The remaining witches who are contenders for the Supremacy are Madison (Emma Roberts), Misty (Lily Rabe), Zoe (Taissa Farmiga), Queenie (Gabourey Sidibe) and even Cordelia (Sarah Paulson), despite her older age.

The Foxfast.com synopsis for the upcoming episode, which is titled Go to Hell, reveals that Queenie demonstrates a new power to Papa Legba (Lance Reddick), making her a strong contender. The synopsis also states that Zoe will return to the Coven to "claim her destiny," which is presumedly referring to being the expected new Supreme.

Cordelia is likely to be the candidate with the worst chance of being the new Supreme, considering one of the qualifications is being in good health (she is now blind). Meanwhile, Misty has shown the potential to be the new Supreme but has also shown real hesitance in taking on the new position.

Madison's more villainous status on the show means that she probably won't be the ultimate Supreme, especially considering she already died. As of the latest episode, Zoe and Queenie seem to be the most likely contenders to take the crown for the Coven.
