Dancing With the Stars pro dancer Peta Murgatroyd has a new boyfriend, striking down rumors that she was dating her latest celebrity partner, Brant Daugherty.

Murgatroyd is allegedly dating Big Time Rush singer James Maslow, according to a new report by Life & Style magazine.

The 27-year-old Murgatroyd was spotted with Maslow, 23, at SUR restaurant in West Hollywood this week. A source confirmed to Life & Style that the two entertainers were an item.

"They started dating after meeting through friends recently," the source said. "He's super busy rehearsing for his Big Time Rush tour, which kicks off today [Feb. 6], and she's gearing up for the next season of DWTS. They're both really busy, but they enjoy each other's company."

While both are busy with their respective careers, the couple reportedly "made time in their schedules for the dinner, and really hit off . . . It's going to get serious soon!"

Reports of Murgatroyd's new man comes months after rumors that she was dating her season 17 celebrity DWTS partner Daugherty. Murgatroyd came in seventh place with Daugherty on Dancing With the Stars, despite getting good reviews from the judges throughout their run on the show.

Murgatroyd has dated some of her fellow pro dancers since being on the show. She dated fan favorite Maksim Chmerkovskiy through 2012 but the pair broke up in February 2013. She also dated former castmate Damian Whitewood.

Murgatroyd is expected to return for Dancing With the Stars season 18 when it premieres on Monday, March 17.
