Shia LaBeouf was caught on camera walking out of a press conference for his new film Nymphomaniac about 10 minutes into the interview.

When the actor was sitting with his co-star Stacy Martin, they were asked about shooting sex scenes.

Martin was willing to answer the questions by explaining that she's been a fan of director Lars von Trier's films and the sex scenes were just part of the film.

"I really trusted Lars and I've always really loved his films," Martin said. "So the sex scenes for me really were part of the film, and I trusted Lars and I trusted that so immediately it makes the job much easier."

But when it was LaBeouf's turn to make a statement, he had less to say.

"When the seagulls follow the trawler, it's because they think sardines will be thrown into the sea. Thank you very much," LaBeouf said as he stood up and walked out.

This left the audience to hesitantly applaud while his co-stars were left with confused smiles on their faces.

LaBeouf's statement is actually a quote from French soccer star Eric Cantona who reportedly said this in 1995 after he was convicted of an assault. Cantona had also apparently stormed out of a press conference after saying this statement.

When the actor appeared to the premiere of his new film on Sunday, he wore a brown paper bag over his head that read: "I AM NOT FAMOUS ANYMORE," which is a tweet the actor has constantly posted since being accused of plagiarizing a comic which bared several similarities to a short film LaBeouf made. .
