Apollo Nida reportedly needs more time to prove his innocence in his highly anticipated fraud trial.

Apollo Nida Surrenders For Fraud

The Real Housewives of Atlanta star is currently facing several federal charges including bank fraud and identity theft since surrendering to Atlanta police on Jan. 24.

His initial hearing was set for Feb. 11, but the day before he asked for "an extension of time up to and including March 25, 2014 [to] allow parties sufficient time to discuss a potential resolution of this case," Radar Online reported.

He is said to be asking for time as he decides whether to go to trial to face the charges, or considers accepting a potential plea deal.

As for his wife Phaedra Parks' co-star Kenya Moore, who Nida has accused of coming on to him, she's put all of her cards against Nida. During a recent appearance on Bethenny, she was asked if she thought he would go to jail.

"Oh absolutely," she said.

She revealed that she hasn't talked about the charges with him, but the cast has dished about it "amongst" each other.

"I don't have anything to say to him after the lies that he's told on me. I don't have a reason to have a conversation with him," she said.

Moore was one of the first cast members to publicly speak out on Nida's charges. The day after he was arrested she took to Twitter to share her thoughts and wrote, "Losers never win. I have always seen through people and I was the first to tell you last season about these people and who they really are. #dirty."
