A video of megachurch pastor Creflo Dollar Jr. denying attacking his daughter to his congregation at World Changers Church on Sunday has been swirling the internet. The 50-year-old pastor tells his congregation that he should not have been arrested and that the mark on his daughter's neck is eczema.

He denied the accusation, saying: "I will say this emphatically. I should have never been arrested." He continued: "The truth is that a conversation with our daughter got emotional and things escalated from there. The truth is she was not choked, she was not punched."

He went on to say that everything else has been sensationalized. "There were not any scratches on her neck. But the only thing on her neck was a prior skin abrasion from eczema. Anything else is exaggeration and sensationalism."

Dollar's 15-year-old daughter made the 911 call, prompting officers to respond. She accused her father of charging at her, reporting that she had been punched and choked by her own father.

The pastor was subsequently arrested and taken to Fayette County Jail, where he was later released on a $5,000 bond.

Many of his congregants believed him, and agreed that all this has been hyped up by the media.

One member of Dollar's church told ABC News: "I think you're looking at a bunch of sensationalism. It's not up to me to me to be satisfied with what he had to say. This is a man of God spreading the word of God."

The father of five faces charges of simple battery and cruelty to children.
