The Women's Hockey finals will go on at 12 p.m. ET with USA and Canada facing off at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi.

The United States and Canada will compete against each other to see which country's team will take home the gold medal and which will have to settle for silver.

This is the second game Team USA will play against Canada in the 2014 Winter Olympics. Canada won the first game 3-2, a game that was played in the preliminary round of competition.

The matchup is not a surprise when looking at Women's Hockey history in the Winter Olympics. The sport was first included for women in the Winter Olympics in 1998, where Team USA won the gold. Canada has won each of the last three hockey tournaments ever since.

The importance of this final game is felt among the players, especially on Team USA.

"We've all taken the last eight months to prepare for this moment," said goalie Jessie Vetter. "It's crazy, it's sports. It all comes down to one game."

Team captain Meghan Duggan added, "It's always revenge against them."
