Despite rumors to the contrary. Miley Cyrus has slammed rumors that she has been dating Justin Bieber behind Selena Gomez's back.

Referencing a Life & Style story that stated she had committed the ultimate betrayal to her fellow former Disney star by hooking up with Bieber while he was still romantically linked to Gomez, Cyrus took to twitter Monday to dispel the rumors and call the magazine out for making up lies.
The story featured a photo of Cyrus and Bieber allegedly at Pharrell's birthday party, but the Adore You singer, who is currently on her worldwide Bangerz tour, slammed the photo, saying the magazine photoshopped the two together to create the story.

"Btw this is photoshopped. Biebs wasn't at Pharrels bday party. I never read this s--t & that's why," she tweeted along with a picture of the magazine article.
When the story of the alleged betrayal broke, the magazine alleged that fellow pop stars Demi Lovato and Taylor Swift were ready to come to Gomez's defense and get revenge on Cyrus for betraying her.
"Both Taylor and Demi know how heartbroken Selena's been, and they hate what Miley did to her," a source allegedly said. "All four girls used to be friendly, but when Selena heard Miley started making moves on Justin, it went downhill."
The source went on to add that Swift was even going as far trashing Cyrus' reputation over the alleged betrayal.
"Taylor isn't shy about telling people she think Miley is a skank," the source said.
No comments have been made by any of the four female singers on the alleged reaction to the betrayal.
It was also reported that Gomez's brief stint in rehab in January was a result of Cyrus hooking up with Bieber.
"She told the group how much she was struggling with Justin's infidelity and his obsession with hooking up with other women. She learned from mutual friends time and again that Justin was cheating, and that knowledge was breaking her heart," an insider claimed at the time.
"She kept talking about a girl named Miley-a friend of hers who betrayed her by hooking up with her boyfriend behind her back. Dealing with stories about Justin's random hookups were bad enough, but hearing that he was involved with one of her closest friends was the ultimate betrayal for her," the insider added.
