Ukranian model Valeria Lukyanova (also known as Human Barbie) is reportedly starving herself and only relying on light and air to survive.

Reports state that the model's tiny waist is 50 centimeters and she intends to keep it this way with a new lifestyle called "Breatharianism."

"In recent weeks I haven't been hungry at all," Lukyanova said. "I'm hoping it's the final stage before I can subsist on air and light alone."

As dangerous as this lifestyle sounds, a proponent of Breatharianism revealed that if someone follows this strategy, then there must be a lot of dedication.

"The capacity to live on light is directly related to our ability to attract, absorb and radiate Divine Love which is determined by our lifestyle," a website called Jamusheen mentioned. "When we are all well-tuned and our body fit, we can access an inner power, which has the ability to love us, guide us, heal us and also nourish our cells."

Lukyanova was also part of a VICE documentary, which shows the model's more spiritual lifestyle. In an interview with The Daily Beast, she talked about how having good looks can cause people to start thinking more about spirituality.

"I am a lecturer on the subject of out-of-body travel," Lukyanova said. "If a nun starts talking about spirituality, will anyone notice her? No, no one will. But if a beautiful, inspiring young woman starts talking about it, many people will start thinking. So I use my appearance to promote my spiritual ideas. It works perfectly."
