Emily Wickersham, who plays Bishop, previously revealed what fans can expect to see from her the rest of season 11.

"Well, Ellie is from a big family in Oklahoma, a Midwestern girl," she told TV Line in a January report. "We know that she is married, though we don't really know much about Bishop's husband yet."

When TV Line asked Wickersham if the rumors of Bishop's husband being a lawyer were true, the actress didn't confirm or deny. Instead, she said how excited she is for fans to get to know more about the character.

"I'm not sure what's been revealed, to be honest, but it's a storyline that I'm really looking forward to getting to know more about," she said. "I think it'll be fun to see where Bishop comes from. She has three older brothers, which I think makes the transition to hanging out with the NCIS crew easier."

Bishop made her debut on the show in November during the episode "Gut Check." In a poll conducted by the website, 78 percent of the show's fans said they either "love" or "like" the new character.
