Scandal is back Thursday and the synopsis for Episode 12,  "We Do Not Touch The First Ladies" suggests that old feelings will come to surface.

Last episode, fans saw a sneak peak alluding to Mellie's old fame, Andrew Nichols, who is coincidentally Fitz's running mate for Vice President.

In an interview with TVLine, Bellamy Young, who plays Mellie said that viewers will get a "lot more information not just about me [Mellie] and Andrew but also about Andrew in general." She also confessed that there could be some flashbacks, adding that fans will learn about their history "and it will be fun."

Kerry Washington dropped a spoiler for the show this past Sunday during the Oscars award.

"It's worth the wait...It's pretty insane, what goes on. There's some shocking stuff that's about to unfold. Gladiators, unite," she was quoted by Parade.

No word if Quinn will unite with the old Gladiators, but the preview hints that Rowan is out to get revenge.

In an interview with Ryan Seacrest, Washington said that the show just keeps getting better and better.

"It's kind of nuts," she said. "There are things that happen in the next couple of episodes that had the entire room at our table read crying-things that had us applauding and screaming and laughing," she said. "I mean, we are shocked at every table read."

Although the actress is currently 7-months pregnant, her baby bump will not be incorporated into the script. Instead, her stomach will be hidden in several scenes.
