As The Walking Dead continues through its fourth season, one of the show's breakout stars recently dished on how her character has been changing due to the circumstances surrounding the characters.

Lauren Cohan, who has portrayed Maggie Greene since season 2, revealed in a March 9 interview with The Hollywood Reporter  that her character has been facing extreme challenges as she tries to find her fiance, Glenn, who she became separated from after the prison was destroyed.

"You can ask her to risk her like for her own benefit," Cohan said. "That's all we do now is risk our lives. What's changed in Maggie is that recognition-it's finding Glenn, but it's also finding out who she is in her search for him and knowing despite all this despair, she is still an incredibly faithful person and she's not going to leave anyone behind."

"She deeply knows in her heart that they are still alive and it's going to be okay," she added.

Cohan also spoke about the most recent episode and the new destination the group is all heading towards, called Terminus.

"We should always be concerned that anything that sounds too good to be true probably is," she said. "This is way too big for any of us to ignore that train tracks leading to something that could be a sanctuary."

"I don't know that Terminus is going to be a bad idea-none of us should assume that," she added.

The Walking Dead airs on Sundays at 9 p.m ET on AMC.
