Valeria Lukyanova, known as the human Barbie, could face more controversy now that a new doll with more realistic measurements became available.

Human Barbie Valeria Lukyanova Can Survive Without Food?

On Monday, TIME reported on Lammily, a doll with the measurements of an average 19-year-old female as opposed to the unrealistic proportions of the Barbie doll.

The new doll has garnered tons of support because she portrays what many young girls truly look like.

"Finally! A barbie that resolves my short stature issues..." tweeted one user.

"I'm so loving this new "average is beautiful" Lammily doll idea," tweeted another.

Lammily was created by digital artist Nickolay Lamm and according to the Toronto Sun, he has raised more than $125,000 for his creation. Lamm said that he came up with this idea to bring out inner beauty.

"I've experienced my own feelings on inadequacy, just like pretty much every person," Lamm told TIME.

"I thought to myself, if I can experience something like this, I can't begin to imagine what women have to go through because they are subject to much higher beauty standards. My projects are made with this is mind. I want to show that you are beautiful just the way you are."

Lammily represents the opposite of what Lukyanova is attempting to achieve. According to a live video from ABC News, author Sarah Maria believes that model Lukyanova is sending out the wrong message to girls even though she's getting international coverage for it.

For example, Lukyanova is striving to resemble Barbie so much that she's willing to cut out food from her life completely.
