Round 2 of NCAA's Men's Basketball Tournament continued Friday and fans' brackets were once again crushed into pieces when Mercer University upset Duke.

The Blue Devils, a No. 3 seed were beaten by No. 14 Mercer in a final score of 78-71 after Duke fell behind with too many turnovers and went 35.5 percent of 62 field goals. Mercer was led by five seniors who attacked the rim, and finished 55.6 percent from the field on 25 of 45 shooting.

After the game, Mercer's Kevin Canevari made headlines after he was filmed doing the Nae Nae dance to celebrate his team's huge victory.

"It's a huge win for us. It's a huge step for Mercer," Canevari said."We haven't been here in 30 years as a school. Our goal was to get here and now that we're here we're not just satisfied with being here. We want to make a statement."

The Charlotte native whose family was in attendance for the game said he didn't dance too much in high school, but "it just kinda caught on and it's something that really gets us going.

ABC noted that Mercer qualified for its first NCAA tournament since 1985 by winning the Atlantic Sun conference championship over Florida Gulf Coast. Last year, ironically, the Bears lost against FGCU and had to suffer watching their rival advance to the Sweet 16.

"When they were going on their run, we were sitting at home thinking, 'Man, that could have been us,'" Anthony White Jr. said.
