It looks like Mary is about to become the woman everyone's been waiting for when The CW's Reign returns.

Mary's Wedding Chatter

In a clip of the upcoming episode called Liege Lord published on Thursday, Mary is about to take matters into her own hands while others appear to be afraid of her. The clip starts off with Mary being told that Scotland will belong to France if she dies. It then leads into Francis having high suspicions that his family is involved, which causes Queen Catherine to angrily slam a book and say, "Mary knows..."

As the clip continues, Mary announces how France has betrayed her country, which causes her to stand up to a man on how she has "defied" others. Mary seems pretty confident about what she's planning, which may cause fans to believe that Mary would face an ugly battle. But when everyone bows to her, she gets praised and is told that she has risen.

Mary & Bash Love Story Continues?

While Mary seems to be developing her strength, it looks like other characters may lose theirs completely.

In a recent interview with TV Line, Alan Van Sprang, who plays King Henry, dished on his character and how he may not stick around for Season 2.

"It just depends on the direction they want to go in, and how quickly they want history to move along," Sprang said. "We'll have to see next season how everybody's doing...I guess they would let us know at some point and give us notice, but no one's given me the death stare yet."

Reign returns on Thursday, April 10 at 9 p.m. ET on The CW.
