The Walking Dead Season 4 finale just ended on Sunday night, and there's already some new information on what's going to happen in Season 5.

Epic Cliffhanger Chatter

Scott Gimple, one of the writers of the series, revealed some small teases about what the new season will be like, and how it will change from Season 4, as posted by Zap2It Sunday.

"We're really excited about it. The writers are working very hard," Gimple said about the next season. "We're looking at all the new places we're going. It's going to be an incredible season. It's going to be completely different from this year."

The writer did not reveal any details of the plot, but apparently there will be "a nuclear weapon," and Carol, Tyreese and Beth are out somewhere in the world, though they could also be trapped at Terminus along with Carl, Tara, Abraham, Rick, Maggie, Rosita, Glenn, Eugene, Bob, Michonne and Sasha.

Despite not having too much information on the new year, Gimple did mention that there will be a lot going on, and it should definitely be a good one.

"You guys have only just found out," Gimple said about the last season's ending. "We cannot wait to get back to work. We've had so many emails from whoever's left, everybody pinging to each other...just to get it going...it's hard, this show, but that's the way we love it."

The Walking Dead Season 5 is expected to air in October 2014 on AMC.
