Juan Pablo got a taste (literally) of how much his Bachelor audience really doesn't care for him but that hasn't stopped his girlfriend Nikki Ferrell from sticking by him.

Nikki Ferrell's Ex-Boyfriend Wants Her Back

During an appearance at the Pool After Dark event at Harrah's Resort in Atlantic City, a mystery woman was bold enough to throw a drink in the reality star's face. It didn't end there for the former Bachelor. She also spewed profanity at him before security had to step in and carry her out.

Ferrell was soon spotted right by his side around 1 a.m. Later that night, Juan Pablo told Us Weekly that they are still going strong.

Juan Pablo on Why He Didn't Propose to Nikki

"We have a long distance relationship. But we are talking about many things."

Just before his appearance, he sat down with NJ.com and spoke on his current status with Ferrell.

He told that site they are "just living life, you know. I'm working; she's working. We're doing good."

While many The Bachelor viewers, especially women, might agree with the woman's actions and slander toward Juan Pablo, he insists that he is just misunderstood.

"It's hard because what you watch on TV it's hard to translate. You know we did filming for 2 months and they just show 20 hours. So there is a show to be made and it is what it is. People will get to know me, the real Juan Pablo."

So who is the "real Juan Pablo?" He said, "Very friendly, very honest, and, you know, very sarcastic joker. Yeah, people don't get that yet, but they will get it."
