"I've got to be honest. ... It kind of got me worried and scared," Andrews said. "I just went back and forth with the producers like, 'Are we good here? Please tell me what I need to work on. Please tell me what I need to do. And they're like, 'We couldn't be happier.'"

The 35-year-old host admitted to reading magazines with rumors of her behind-the-scenes drama, despite her boyfriend and family cautioning against this.

Andrews also noted that she has received lots of support from the show's pro dancers.

"They're kind of the vets and I wanted to do well by them," she said. "So as long as I have people like that saying, 'Great job,' and the executives ... I guess I'm [all right]."

Andrews was a contestant on season 10 of the reality show, placing third with Maksim Chmerkovskiy.

Dancing With the Stars season 18 airs Mondays at 8 p.m. on ABC.
