The drama on Smith Island is about to get more complex as more of those who love Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) begin to realize just how much danger she is in on Days of Our Lives.

Liam's True Colors Emerge and Shock Jennifer?

Though Jennifer went alone to Horton cabin, her ex-boyfriend Liam (Mark Collier) followed her out there, and because his previous attempts to win her back by splitting her and Daniel (Shawn Christian) up all failed, he began holding her at gunpoint and threatening to kill her.

Now, Nicole (Arianne Zucker) will realize the danger Jennifer is in and will head to the island in an attempt to rescue her. Unfortunately her attempts will fail as she too will then be held by Liam at gunpoint.

Liam Drugs Daniel?

Jennifer's boyfriend Daniel will also soon make his way to the island after making a startling discovery at his apartment. His place has been the scene of several of Liam's crimes against the couple -- it was where Liam not only planted a container of drugs to try and make Daniel look like he was abusing, but it was also where he actually succeeded in drugging Daniel by crushing opiates into his orange juice. The act nearly cost Daniel his job as a result. Now, as he continues investigating who might have set him up like that, he will stumble across the truth and realize that the woman he loves is in horrific danger.

Meanwhile, sparks will continue to fly between Abigail (Kate Mansi) and Ben (Justin Gaston), after his strange reaction when he found out his sister, Jordan (Chrishell Stause) was in love with Rafe (Galen Gering). Abigail could learn more about the mysterious past the secretive brother and sister have been keeping from everyone.

Days of Our Lives airs Monday-Friday at 1 p.m. on NBC.
