"So excited to have you join #TheVoice squad @GwenStefani! Welcome to our crazy fam! Kisses- xoxo," Aguilera tweeted along with the hashtag #blondesdoitbest.

Aguilera isn't the only coach who is excited for Stefani's new role on season 7. Before the news became official, Adam Levine revealed just how much he'd want to work with the No Doubt singer.

"If there's any truth to the rumors, I'd just be really excited because I'm a huge fan," he recently told reporters, according to People magazine. "She's a wonderful human being. I love her to pieces. So talented."

Yet, unlike Levine, coach Blake Shelton only has one mission - to outdo the veteran singer. "I've never actually met her," he said about Stefani. "I know who she is and I know some of her music, and I look forward to beating anybody on this show, honestly."

Stefani will replace Aguilera who also took off during season 6 and won't return for the next. The 33-year-old will take some time off as she expects a baby with fiancé Matt Rutler. Aguilera announced her second pregnancy in February, a week after her longtime boyfriend popped the question. She's already mother to 5-year-old Max, with whom she has with ex-husband Jordan Bratman.

But, Aguilera, who appeared on the NBC show for several seasons since its premiere in 2011, won't be gone for too long. Reports say the multiplatinum recording artist is coming back for season 8.
