One of the actresses from the third Hunger Games movie had to drastically change herself for her role, which was reportedly a challenging yet fun process.

Jennifer Lawrence's New Costume Revealed?

On Monday, Daily Mail posted photos of Natalie Dormer, who had to shave off a portion of her head for the role of Cressida in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay. The actress spoke to Glamour about what it's like to have this much free space on her head, which she seems to enjoy.

"A lot of my friends ask to touch my head," Dormer said. "I just stand there and get stroked for five minutes. It's a free massage."

Dormer then mentioned that she wanted to make her character look accurate in the way she's described in the book so she did what she felt was right.

"It's fascinating how much of our sense of attractiveness and feminine identity is bound up in our hair," the actress said. "But in the Mockingjay novel, Cressida is described as having a shaved head with a vine tattoo, and I wanted to do right by the book."

Dormer admitted that taking a good portion of her hair off made her feel "peculiar at first," but it's taken time for her to get used to.

"Cutting one side of your head for a few months is not a big deal compared with what other people have to deal with in the world," she said. "Plus, hair grows back."

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 is expected to hit theaters on November 21.
