A recently released sneak preview for the finale of season 15 of Law & Order shows Nick Amaro (Danny Pino) beign arrested for the attempted murder of Simon Wilkes.

'Instinctual Detectives' To Find Out About Amaro And Rollins Relationship?

The clip begins with Amaro catching hold of Wilkes, who is sneakily taking pictures of kids in a playground. The detective, who is off duty at the time, loses it and beats Wilkes black and blue, eventually knocking him unconscious. A cop car pulls up, and Amaro is arrested.

Amaro's disgruntled boss and some members of the team including Amanda Rollins visit him in jail. The team (sans Amaro) is later seen discussing a case in which the perpetrator targets tourists.

Benson Will Be Faced With A Life-Changing Decision In Finale? 

Here's the official synopsis for the finale of season 15:

"Amaro's (Danny Pino) recklessness once again makes him the target of Internal Affairs, and he has no choice but to face the consequences. With his professional and personal life at risk, he looks to his friend John Munch (Belzer) for advice. Meanwhile, an online ad for escorts leads to the rape and robbery of several male tourists, and one of the suspects has a surprising connection to Sergeant Benson (Mariska Hargitay) that may chane her life forever."

Retired Detective John Munch to Return to Offer Special Expertise in Finale?  

The finale will air on Wednesday, May 21 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on NBC.
