Phaedra Parks has broken her silence on the unforgettable read she handed Kenya Moore during The Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion recently.

Parks spoke out on the now infamous read and said she has no regrets to the Rickey Smiley Morning Show earlier this month.

"I wasn't rehearsing anything, but I'm like, you have the audacity every time on national TV it's either me or Porsha. I just had to put a thot on notice."

It might not have been practiced but Parks made it clear she was prepared to face Moore. She said that Moore continues to point at her family because she has no other storyline and she knew this reunion would be no different.

"We all know when we come to the reunion, what people talk about. Unfortunately, Kenya runs around every interview she does, [and] my name and my family is in her mouth because she doesn't have any jobs, like myself, to talk about. [She doesn't] have any career or aspirations beyond obsessing with me and my family and my husband and my children, so I knew that's what she would be obsessing on as always."

The Rickey Smiley Morning Show credited Parks' perfect blend of tone and pacing as to what made the read so legendary.
