The fifth season of The Walking Dead is likely going to be a big deal as creator Robert Kirkman has revealed some new details on what kind of year the fans can expect to see.

Rick Grimes Will Be 'Completely Different?'

On Tuesday, Entertainment Weekly posted an interview with Kirkman, who mentioned that the cast and crew is happy to be together again, and everyone is still on their "A" game.

"We're doing new and different and crazy and exciting things and now I think the atmosphere is that we can't wait until we can start sharing things with people and start showing things to people because we're really excited about what we're doing here," Kirkman said. "We think we're making another magical season."

Certain Actor Won't Be On The Series After All?

Kirkman then mentioned that despite any pictures going around, he and everyone else has managed to keep the next season in secrecy.

"Just because any images that get out of any kind of things that are seen do in a sense spoil that cliffhanger, so we're trying to keep things a little more tight this time around," Kirkman said. "There's always people crowding around where we're filming and trying to get spy spots of what we're doing and stuff, but for the most part we've been able to avoid that. This is the first time we've really finished a season and gone back to the same place for the next season, so that's kind of cool."

The creator also said that this season will start in an "upcycle" and they are "certainly changing things up."

The Walking Dead Season 5 is expected to premiere in October on AMC.
