The death of a major character on Under the Dome will be occurring at the end of the upcoming second season of the CBS series.

Big Jim Caught Between Julia & New Woman In Under the Dome Season 2?

One of the series' "younger stars" is about to find their character dying by the end of the season, according to a new spoiler report by E! Online.

Presumably, this means that one of Joe (Colin Ford), Angie (Britt Robertson), Junior (Alexander Koch) or Norrie (Mackenzie Lintz) will die by the end of the season.

'Heads Will Roll' In First Episode of Under the Dome?

Under the Dome is set to feature many deaths in Season 2, as it has previously been announced that the death of two major characters will occur in the premiere episode.

As for the identity of the two soon to be dead characters, TV Guide previously released a list of eight characters, two of which will definitely die. They are as follows:

Junior, Angie, Norrie, Big Jim (Dean Norris), Barbie (Mike Vogel), Linda (Natalie Martinez), Carolyn (Aisha Hinds) and Phil (Nicholas Strong).

As seen in the promo clip for the premiere episode, it seems that the Dome is becoming even more in control of the citizens of Chester's Mill. Bodies are seen flying through the air as the Dome is using some sort of telekinetic power.

Junior observes, "I think the Dome is trying to tell us something." While kneeling on the ground, Big Jim looks up at the dome at screams out, "Tell me what to do. Tell me!" It appears that he is holding onto Junior, who has collapsed.

Under the Dome Season 2 premieres Monday, June 30 at 10 p.m. on CBS.
