The drama over an event happening half-a-world away will continue to rock those left behind in Los Angeles on The Bold and the Beautiful.

Quinn Tells Ridge About Her Hook-Up With Bill?

Bill (Don Diamont) and Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) are in Dubai enjoying the sights before saying their I Do's and returning to L.A. as husband and wife. However, their elopement has not been sitting well with their exes in L.A.; Quinn (Rena Sofer) wants Bill to herself, while Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) doesn't want Bill to become the stepfather to his son.

Now, Ridge may be considering heading to Dubai to stop the wedding, especially after he talks to his father, Eric (John McCook), who seems to agree that Brooke and Bill together is a terrible idea.

Brooke Wishes Katie Could 'Be Happy For Her'?

"Stopping Brooke from marrying Bill is strictly for her own good," he says to Ridge in a preview clip for the Tuesday, May 27 episode.

Ridge may agree with his father, but Eric will continue with the thought, saying that while he agrees that Bill is not the best person for Brooke, he thinks Ridge's real reasons for objecting to the marriage are because he still has feelings for his ex-wife.

"I think you can't stand the idea of Brooke being married to anybody but you," Eric says.

Ridge, who is now engaged to Brooke's sister, Katie (Heather Tom), will try to once again convince his father that Katie is the woman he wants, but just because he doesn't want to be with Brooke anymore, doesn't mean he wants her to be with someone he thinks will treat her poorly.

"I want what's best for her," he says. "And Spencer is not that."

The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
