Will (Guy Wilson) previously confessed to the crime, though it is suspected he is covering up for someone else, and now, that someone else could potentially be revealed -- his own husband, Sonny (Freddie Smith).

After Hope (Kristian Alfonso) reveals new evidence she has found, she may implicate that Will has not done anything, forcing Sonny to confess to potentially committing the crime and risk losing his husband forever.

However, the investigation could turn up something else more detrimental to the couple's future, as they could both still be entirely innocent, and just want to protect someone else.

Meanwhile, Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) will overhear an interesting conversation that could clue her in to the entire fiasco between Daniel (Shawn Christian) and Nicole (Arianne Zucker). She has suspected for a long while that something wasn't right with Nicole, and now, thanks to her son J.J.'s (Casey Moss) unintentional involvement in revealing the truth, she will learn just what happened between the two and how their friendship is in jeopardy.

As her secret that she has been keeping from her fiance, Eric (Greg Vaughan), continues to leak, Nicole will desperately try to keep the truth from him. However, her efforts could fail and Eric will learn that he was drugged the night he had sex with Kristen and he likely won't want to marry Nicole any longer when he realizes she has known the truth for as long as she has.
