A new behind-the-scenes clip featuring Liev Schreiber and Jon Voight reveals some more of what fans can expect from the next season of Ray Donovan.

'The Chess Pieces Are Setting Up' Jon Voight Dished On Next Chapter?  

The video was exclusively released on TVLine on June 6. intersperses a sneak peek from the upcoming season with a few inputs from Schreiber, who plays the titular character, and Voight, who plays Mickey Donovan. Ray is seen being pulled at every end and especially focusses on his struggle between being a good family man and an unethical professional fixer. While talking about all that will be up in Ray's world in season 2, Schreiber reveals that he will "need Mickey."

This might not necessarily mean that Mickey is going to play mister nice guy, it seems like Mickey might have gotten Ray into some deeper trouble.

"Mickey's not finished doing damage," Voight said. "He's going to use anything he can to get freedom, but he's smart enough not to move until he's ready."

But it also seems like the father and son are also finally going to start warming up to each other.

The second season will premiere on July 13.

Ray Donovan will air on Sundays at 8 pm ET/PT on Showtime.
