Taylor Swift: Kennedy's Patrick Schwarzenegger Met Through Rory Kennedy

Country singer Taylor Swift is dating Patrick Schwarzenegger, the son of the Kennedy family member Maria Shriver and actor-turned-politician Arnold Schwarzenegger, according to TMZ.com.

Swift, 22 was photographed celebrating the Fourth Of July holiday with Patrick enjoying several activities together including taking a  stroll on the beach alone, hang out at the Kennedy Compound with several members of the Kennedy family, sail on Ted Kennedy Jr.'s boat Mya, attend the annual Fourth of July parade and playing Capture the Flag with several Kennedy grandchildren.

Patrick, who now calls himself Patrick Shriver on Twitter tweeted, "Had such an amazing day. Best 4th of July I could ask for. Hope everyone had a great day!"

Ethel Kennedy's granddaughter Kerry Townsend tweeted, "Arrived at my Grandma's house to find her chilling with Taylor Swift and Dianna Agron. I hope I'm this cool when I'm 83!"

The Kennedy Compound is a waterfront property on Cape Cod  in Hyannis Port, Massachusetts. It was once the home of U.S. President John F. Kennedy,  U.S. Senator Robert F. Kennedy and  US Senator Edward M. "Ted" Kennedy. John used the compound as his base for his successful 1960 U.S. Presidential campaign and later as a summer White House and presidential retreat until his assassination in 1963.

According to Boston Herald, Taylor and Patrick may have met through filmmaker Rory Kennedy. Rory reportedly told ABC News that she first met Swift while accompanying her daughters to one of her concerts.

The report stated that in January, Taylor was invited by Rory to join her in Park City, Utah, at the Sundance Film Festival. She was photographed on the red carpet with Ethel and Rory Kennedy at the premiere of Rory's documentary, "Ethel."

"She really just loves my mother which is so sweet," Rory told ABC. "I'm a huge fan of hers, I have young girls and we had been to a few of her concerts. I met with her at one of them and she had read a ton of books about our family. She was inspired and wrote a song.""

At Sundance, Swift told Fox411, "The only time in my life I have ever been star-struck was meeting Caroline and Ethel Kennedy."

Swift was rumored to be renting a home in Hyannis Port that has a circular driveway and gated entrance out front. "Glee" star Dianna Agron and longtime friend Claire Winter were also in town for the holidays.
