With Penny (Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting) and Leonard (Johnny Galecki) engaged to be married on The Big Bang Theory, fans may expect a bit of a role reversal in wedding plans.

Cuoco-Sweeting spoke with TVLine in a Monday report regarding Penny's engagement to Leonard. While she doesn't quite know how the wedding planning will go down, the actress did suggest what she would like to see happen.

"If I could write it myself, I think Leonard will be more of the bride, because I think it would be funny if he were the planner," she quipped. "Penny is so aloof, she'd be a lot more easy-going than Leonard."

She noted that Leonard is "so excited" about their impending wedding and that he may just "go all Kanye on this," referring to Kanye West's elaborate wedding to Kim Kardashian.

As most weddings involve family, TVLine asked if this means that the show will finally introduce Penny's mom. Cuoco-Sweeting said that she doesn't know, but has an idea in mind for an actress who should play her.

"I hope this doesn't offend her because I know she's super young, though we know Penny's mom got knocked up very early - that Lisa Kudrow would be so perfect. I've said that for years. I think it would be hilarious, plus I'm a huge fan of hers, so it's a selfish wish."

The details surrounding Penny and Leonard's wedding have been kept secret and it is currently unknown as to when it will actually go down.

The Big Bang Theory Season 8 premieres in fall 2014 on CBS, though it will be moving to Mondays at 8 p.m. while the network airs Thursday Night Football. After football is over the sitcom will return to its regular Thursdays at 8 p.m. timeslot.
