It looks like being a Real Housewife these days is a rather profitable career for some reality television stars. According to a new report, Real Housewives of New York star Sonja Morgan isn't as broke as some outlets are making her out to be, as she is reportedly making a staggering $426,500 from the hit Bravo show.
According to documents filed in her bankruptcy case by Hannibal Pictures, the production company that sued her for failing to raise money for a new project, her current Bravo salary isn't as bad as some make it out to be.
"Morgan's current annual gross earned income of $426,500 derived from her employment as a performer on the reality television program The Real Housewives of New York, as reported in her monthly operating reports filed with the Court," reads the report.
This puts Bravo stars such as Morgan along with Ramona Singer, Aviva Drescher, Teresa Giudice, Brandi Glanville and the rest of the Real Housewives cast members at the top when it comes to the highest paid reality stars on television and almost as much as sitcom actors as well.
In comparison, RuPaul of RuPaul's Drag Race makes $50,000 per episode while Reza Farahan of Shahs of Sunset only makes $18,000 per episode.
Meanwhile, Morgan is facing a $7 million judgment from Hannibal Pictures, which according to the judge in their case, have the next year to enforce liens on the Real Housewives of New York star's earnings and assets.
