The Fourth of July has arrived in Salem, and the residents of the dramatic town are ready to celebrate with a barbeque by the lake on Days of Our Lives.

Eve Drops A Bombshell on Jennifer

Most of the town's residents should be in attendance at the big event, which means that while everyone is busy enjoying their day off and watching fireworks light up the night sky, drama should ensue on the ground as well-and potentially set off even more pyrotechnic displays.

Eve Donovan (Kassie DePaiva) will be one of the citizens who potentially turns up the heat and sets off some fireworks of her own, as she takes her feud with Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) to a whole new level.

Not only are the two feuding over Eve's claims she is due to some of the royalties from Jack's book, but they may soon find themselves feuding over another man-Daniel (Shawn Christian).

Eve is set to flirt with the handsome doctor-and Jennifer's on/off again boyfriend-at the Fourth of July barbeque.

The two feuding women may also see their battle extend to their children-and the romance the two formed could end because of it. Paige (True O'Brien) and J.J. (Casey Moss) finally graduated from Salem High, and were still happily dating-but as their mothers continue to fight, they may start as well, and it could effectively end their relationship for good.

Meanwhile, Eve's sister, Theresa (Jen Lilley) will have an uncharacteristic moment, as she actually shares a warm encounter with Caroline (Peggy McCay). The other scheming Donovan sister doesn't often get along nicely with people in town, meaning the rare moment of warmth could help set her on a better path.

Days of Our Lives airs Monday-Friday at 1 p.m. on NBC.
