4th of July Fireworks San Diego 2014: Best Locations For Watching ‘Big Bay Boom’ Plus Other Shows In Coronado, La Jolla, Escondido, Legoland & More [LIVE STREAM]
New York might be known for its big fireworks display every Fourth of July, but San Diego, California is making sure they come in at a close second for 2014.
The sunny Southern California paradise will have several fireworks spectaculars throughout the county, but the biggest show is without a doubt set to be the Big Bay Boom in the heart of Downtown San Diego.
The show, which can be viewed live on both Fox 5 (San Diego) and KTLA 5 (Los Angeles) begins at 9 p.m. over San Diego's Big Bay, but those located in the city can get several premium viewing locations around the area.
A map of locations for the show can be found here, but those planning on attending the festivities should heed warnings that areas for viewing do fill up fast.
Shelter Island could be full as early as 1 p.m., while Harbor Island is also expected to fill up quickly. Other recommended viewing area that may fill up less quickly are Seaport Village/South Embarcadero, North Embarcadero, and the Coronado Ferry Landing across the Bay.
Big Bay Boom isn't the only show scheduled in San Diego however, as separate shows are scheduled to take place in Coronado, El Cajon, Escondido, Imperial Beach, La Jolla, Mira Mesa, National City, Poway, San Marcos and Santee. LEGOLAND in Carlsbad is also scheduled to have its own separate Red, White and Boom! Show at the park beginning at 8:30 p.m., and SeaWorld will finish off the night with a 10:10 p.m. show.
