Some new details have been unleashed on the mysterious Gareth on The Walking Dead, giving hints on what kind of chaos he might being to the series.

Character To Scream For Help While 'Limping?'

On Thursday, AMC posted a brief interview with actor Andrew J. West, who plays Gareth on the series. It was mentioned that no one knows much about his character, but the actor pointed out that Gareth won't be that simple to understand, but maybe that will change.

"Hopefully we'll get to know him," West said. "What I can say about him is that he's definitely a complicated character, I think there's more to him than initially meets the eye. He's a pragmatist and he's a survivor."

When it was brought up that Gareth seems like "a smart guy," West seemed to agree and added, "I hope so, yeah."

The next season will likely be one to look forward to based on one of the actor's latest interviews. Andrew Lincoln, who plays Rick, recently spoke to Gold Derby on what the first episodes of the fifth year will be like.

"I think the first few episodes that I've read are astonishing," Lincoln said. "Not only for the energy and the emotional impact, but just story how they are able to develop character in amongst this incredible thrill ride. I'm really, really excited by it. I think if we capture 75 percent, 70 percent of what I read in the script, I think fans are going to be more than happy."

The Walking Dead Season 5 is expected to premiere in October on AMC.
