Rick Grimes is about to become a different man when The Walking Dead returns after he takes a piece of clothing from someone he killed.

New Details Revealed About Gareth

On Thursday, AMC posted a clip with costume designer Eulyn Womble who went over Rick's costumes and how they define him each year. While Chris Hardwick, the host of Talking Dead, was wearing Rick's Season 1 outfit, Womble pointed out how the other seasons were a little different from that cop uniform.

She mentioned the jacket he wore on the road in Season 3 where he looked more "tattered" as well as the farmer shirt in Season 4. But when she got to what his main piece of clothing will be for the fifth season, it turns out that Rick will be "comic book Rick."

"And it's also a very different Rick," Womble said. "A Rick who stole the jacket from somebody that he killed."

The jacket is dark colored with light brown fur around the collar. There is a faded T-shirt along with it. This outfit is likely going to be Rick's new trademark as his own character becomes a new person.

Andrew Lincoln who plays Rick spoke to Gold Derby about how there will be more character development especially in the first episodes of the next season.

"I think the first few episodes that I've read are astonishing," Lincoln said. "Not only for the energy and the emotional impact, but just story how they are able to develop character in amongst this incredible thrill ride."

The Walking Dead Season 5 is expected to premiere in October on AMC.
