Why Was Austin Mahone Sent A Wedding Ring?

Not quite, but Mahone did tweet that he wanted to be one of Efron's movie characters. Mahone tweeted, "Every time I watch high school musical I wish I was Troy Bolton" referring to the part that made Efron a household name. Efron famously played Troy Bolton in 2006 and later starred in two more HSM films.

Mahone may not get to be the singing-dancing teen basketball player, but he will come pretty close on his upcoming summer tour.

Austin Mahone Hangs Out In Paris And Goes To The Eiffel Tower 

On July 6, Mahone was seen spending time in Miami, Florida in a VIP cabana wearing a shirt that said "pizza president." He had earlier tweeted, "Last day of relaxation and then I start rehearsing for this tour!!"

Mahone will start his United States leg of his tour with openers Fifth Harmony, Shawn Mendes and The Vamps on July 25 in San Antonio. Mahone will be on the road until September 10 with stops in Las Vegas, Boston, Philadelphia and Pittsburgh. Mahone has been linked to Fifth Harmony singer Camila Cabello in the past, but denied any romance relationship.

"We're just friends," the single Mahone told Cambio.com. Although Mahone and Cabello have both posted pics of each other hanging out, Mahone said they just did it for the comments that come on Instagram. "It's pretty funny though. I remember we were each other and we were like lets just post a picture and watch everyone freak out."
