There's nothing he can do to retain control of his life as he sits behind bars, and having everything he loves taken away from him is going to shock E.J. (James Scott) on Days of Our Lives.

Sami Makes A Game-Changing Move

He has already lost his honeymoon with Sami (Allison Sweeney) because he was arrested for tax evasion during the couple's wedding reception, after an unknown saboteur sent evidence of his crimes to the police. He still hasn't learned who set him up for an epic downfall, but when he gets wind of the newest changes outside of the jail, he may finally realize just what is going on.

During his absence from his family's company, his new wife found a way to get herself elected as CEO-officially ousting him from his post. The news that he has lost his job to his wife will shock E.J. immensely-and will potentially give him the clues he needed to figure out who set him up. After he puts all of the pieces together in his mind, he will realize it was Sami who got him sent to jail-and that the only possible reason she would have to do this to him would be because she learned of his affair with Abigail (Kate Mansi).

Eve Tries To Charm Daniel?

Another major war has been brewing in Salem between Abigail's mother, Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) and the recently returned-to-town Eve Donovan (Kassie DePaiva). The former rivals barely had a chance to catch up on one another's lives before Eve slammed Jennifer with a lawsuit over the royalties to Jack's book, and the schemer isn't done yet.

She already flirted with Jennifer's on/off-again beau Daniel (Shawn Christian) at the Fourth of July barbeque, and now she will take things even further-by "firing" him as her primary care physician-just so she can ask him out on a date. If Daniel were to say yes to Eve's request, it could potentially crush Jennifer to see Eve steal yet another man away from her.

Days of Our Lives airs Monday-Friday at 1 p.m. on NBC.
