One of the actors from Nashville teased a detail about the third season, involving what kind of music fans can expect to hear.

Will Maddie Become The New Star?

On Friday, Charles Esten (Deacon) tweeted that he's already working on making some more hits for the series and the first one is going to be a pretty big deal.

"In the studio with @MillerBudMusic and a band of the best, ready to record my first song of Season 3! It's a special one. #Nashville," he wrote.

There is no word yet on what the song will be, but the actor seems pretty enthusiastic about it.

Audrey Peeples (Layla) recently spoke to Glamour on what she hopes will happen in the third season with her character, which could potentially involve something romantic with Jeff (Oliver Hudson).

"I think that would be so fun. He's a lovely person," the actress said. "I'm really hoping she takes a step back and looks at herself. She struggles with writing music, and I feel like she's gone through so much this season that maybe she'll go through a transformation with her music. I'm hoping something like that happens."

Peeples also dished on the scene when Will told Layla that he was gay, and how it stuck with the actors during filming.

"We could not stop bawling the entire time we were shooting," she said. "I think we took three hours to shoot that scene. It was a big moment."

Nashville Season 3 is expected to premiere this fall on ABC.
