Todd Chrisley Slams Ex-Wife on Twitter

TV Guide caught up with Chrisley Monday at the Television Critics Associations's fall previews where they set the record straight.

"Today, I am not gay," he said.

He also cleared up why he refused to speak on speculation that he is gay with People magazine back in March.

"I didn't feel I had to address it. The reporter asked the question and I don't feel there's a need for me to not address it. I don't believe that being gay is something that you should be ashamed of. I don't believe it's something you should hide. If I wanted to date someone, I would call you and I would ask you to go to dinner with me. But right now, I'm very content in my life with where I am."

Chrisley went on to talk about how his newfound reality TV fame has changed some of their family's habits, like texting and driving, which they received lots of flack for on social media.

"I think that we certainly are a little bit more observant and aware."

The drama and excitement will definitely continue into season 2 as his rebellious son Chase turns 18 and Savannah goes on her first date.

Todd said, "I think we try to maintain the same level of family and doing what we do every day and not worrying about the cameras. We signed up for this, so again, you have the right to see what we signed up for."

His wife, Julie, chimed in and said, "It's impossible to be guarded or watch everything that you saw or do, when we're all together especially."

The executive producer of the show, Stephanie Bloch Chambers, also credited the family's candidness as a factor in the show being a hit.

"The honesty of this family creates a lot of humor."

Season 2 of Chrisley Knows Best premieres this fall on USA. Be sure to keep up with Enstars for cast news and updates.
