A new alliance has formed on CBS' Big Brother 16 in the wake of the Bomb Squad's destruction, and it formed late Tuesday night on the live feeds.

Big Brother 16 Devin Not Going Down Without A Fight, Campaigns To Stay In House

While the Bomb Squad is pretty much blown up at this point, five of its members have formed a new sub-alliance. Late Tuesday night, Christine, Cody, Derrick, Frankie and Zach got together in the HOH room and decided to form their own alliance going forward in the game. The five-member group is calling itself The Detonators, a clever spinoff of the Bomb Squad.

Despite each of the alliance members swearing their allegiance to one another, there are already potential cracks starting to form.

Cody and Derrick discussed the new Detonators alliance later in the night and agreed that they did not trust Frankie. They agreed to their own personal Final 2 alliance, calling each other The Hitmen. Derrick said that while they are in an "Amigo" alliance with Zach, he said that he does not intend on playing the game with him as a tight alliance member.

It remains to be seen what any of the alliance members would do if they are in power, but they likely won't begin turning on each just yet.

The next episode of Big Brother 16 airs Wednesday at 8/7c on CBS, featuring the Power of Veto Competition and the Veto Ceremony.
