Viewers were able to see Evans and her newborn son during the season premiere last night, even if Evans herself has yet to reveal the official photos.

The MTV reality star tweeted Wednesday that she would be posting photos of the baby boy, born June 29, but by mid-afternoon plans suddenly changed.

"Couple more days I'll post picks #Promise !" tweeted Evans, following the message with a disappointed frowning face.

By 10 p.m. Evans was ready for the Teen Mom 2 premiere, encouraging fans on Twitter to get the series trending.

While the star primarily used her live-tweeting on the episode to comment on general things, like how long her hair used to be and how she doesn't like driving the hummer, she was serious in discussing her newborn son.

"No one would ever take this child away from me," she tweeted during the show, prompting backlash from critics who felt the need to remind the 23-year-old that her mother still had custody of her five-year-old, Jace.

By 10:30 p.m. Teen Mom 2 was trending online, with both stars and fans actively involved in watching the new episode and commenting on the situations faced by the young mothers.
