It looks like marriage might just be in the cards for MTV's Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans and boyfriend Nathan Griffith -- or has it already happened?

With the return of new Teen Mom 2 episodes Wednesday night, fans have begun to wonder if the reality stars, all of whom are relatively active on social media, will have any surprises.

It is already public knowledge that Evans gave birth to her second child, Kaiser, on June 29. A photo of his feet was released later that day via Twitter. With the overwhelming presence of social media, the series will have to work twice as hard to shock audiences.

According to one source, it is rumored that ex-Marine Griffith will be proposing to the mother of his son very soon. Evans finalized her divorce with ex Courtland Rogers last month, opening up marriage as a viable option for her and her new beau.

Is this a misdirection though and could the couple already be married? The pair fooled fans the day Kaiser was born by claiming they were at the beach all day only to then reveal the secret later that evening and they could just be doing that sort of thing again, saving the marriage for MTV to reveal.

Evans and Griffith seem to be building a happy life together. When Evans isn't promoting the new season of her MTV series on Twitter, she's joking around with Griffith.

"'I'm the alpha in our little family,'" she quoted Griffith as saying, though Evans then added in her own voice, "But u still went to the kitchen and got my drink #JustSaying."

Kaiser is the pair's first child together. Evans has five-year-old Jace from a previous boyfriend and Griffith has a daughter from a previous relationship.

Teen Mom 2 returns to MTV tonight at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
