Star Wars: Episode VII is continuing to find actors with another one being added to soar into the galaxy far, far away.

J.J. Abrams Has 'Nailed It'

On Thursday, Variety announced that actress Christina Chong has joined the Episode VII cast for an unknown role. The only piece of information about her part is that it's supposed to be a minor role.

Chong's previous credits include Johnny English Reborn, W.E. and Freakdog. She's also known for playing Mariana in the TV series 24: Live Another Day.

'Episode VII' Will Be Explored 'In Deeper Ways'

Other actors who have been confirmed for Episode VII include Domhnall Gleeson, Oscar Isaac, John Boyega, Max von Sydow, Oscar winning actress Lupita Nyong'o and several more. Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher are also expected to reprise their roles as Luke Skywalker, Han Solo and Princess Leia.

Actor and director Kevin Smith recently made a visit to the set of the new film where he mentioned some small details on what fans can expect to see.

"So we go to the set, and they're actually shooting- and this is what I can't tell you what they were shooting- but what I saw I absolutely loved," Smith said, published in Rolling Stone. "It was tactile; it wasn't a series of f---ing green and blue screens in which later on digital characters would be added. It was there; it was happening."

The director apparently signed a nondisclosure agreement that restricted him from revealing specific details about the movie.

Star Wars: Episode VII is expected to hit theaters on December 18, 2015.
