Fans of MTV's Teen Mom 2 know that Jenelle Evans has been down a rocky road. She had her first child Jace as a teenager and, as a result of her lifestyle, ultimately lost custody of the child to her mother Barbara.

Nathan Griffith Claims He & Jenelle Evans Will 'Grow Old Together'

While Evans recently celebrated the birth of her second child Kaiser with boyfriend Nathan Griffith, Barbara continues to retain custody of Jace. While she wasn't always there for her eldest boy, the 23-year-old reality star has assured fans that not only is she trying to be a better parent to Jace, but she's also trying to remain completely present in life of her newborn, whom she welcomed June 29.

On Friday evening Evans reposted a fan's question on Twitter, followed by her own response. "Will you settle an argument?" asked @kelleads13 "Has Barb babysat Kai?"

"Not once," replied Evans, seeming to take pride in the fact that she has been able to care for her child in a way in which she'd been incapable of doing so in the past.

While some responses suggested that she's been out partying, Evans posted a pic of Griffith and Kaiser earlier that day showing exactly where it goes they go when they are out. "Lunch date with these two studs," tweeted Evans alongside a photo of Griffith holding a sleeping Kaiser at a restaurant.

The pair have been under a lot of scrutiny, particularly with the birth of their second child and Griffith's recent stint in jail, but Evans does seem to be maturing in comparison to her early days on the reality series.

Teen Mom 2 continues on MTV with new episodes Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
