Switched at Birth is about to get emotional for everyone, including Travis as high school graduation approaches in the summer finale.

In a sneak peek posted on Thursday, Travis and Emmett pick up their gowns as Mary Beth comes by and lets them know how cool those are. Travis admits that he never thought he would wear one, then Emmett asks Mary Beth if she'll be at the ceremony, which she definitely will. He then lets her know that there's going to be a big party afterwards.

Mary Beth asks Travis if anyone in his family will be there, but it looks like he didn't invite any of them. His friend seems skeptical about that since he didn't even ask his mother to come. She thinks it's a good idea for Travis to invite his mom since this is after all the only high school graduation he's going to have.

"I have friends. I have you. That's enough," Travis signs to Mary Beth. She gives her friend the benefit of the doubt by not going into a further discussion as the two take off, leaving Emmett to watch them go.

This might cause some heartbreak that could come from Travis and for others. Perhaps, he might reconsider his plans of not asking his family to come see him take that diploma. Or maybe he'll keep up with his word and then regret it later.

Switched at Birth airs on Mondays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC Family.
