Star of the latest series of "The Bachelorette" Emily Maynard has made the decision to swap her last name for Jef Holm's; when the two eventually tie the knot.  In the 8th season of the ABC hit show, Maynard had handpicked Holm over 25 other male contestants.

While speaking to Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS-FM radio show, Maynard informed the world of her name switching decision.

"Even though I went on The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, I'm pretty traditional, believe it or not.  So, yeah, for sure."

Maynard and Holm had got engaged during the season finale of the show.  She had previously won the 15th season of "The Bachelor" after being picked by Brad Womack.  However, their relationship went caput soon after that reality show.

Maynard is only the 2nd former contestant to be crowned on "The Bachelor" and go on to receive her own show.

When she was queried on when the wedding will happen, she had the following to say:

"We don't have a specific date yet. He's going to move to Charlotte, and then we're just going to take it day by day."

Speaking of Charlotte, Maynard's season actually marked the very first time that "The Bachelorette" was shot in the southern part of the United States; which is where she and her daughter reside. Holm had scored huge brownie points with the hot mom for his connection with the youngster.

Jef Holm commented on what he thought was an instant connection with the then eligible mother.

"It doesn't seem like we even met on the show.  It's so weird to us.  We talk about it all the time. We're just like, 'I can't believe we found each other the way we did.'"

Call me clever but, I am pretty sure you found Emily Maynard by signing up for an ABC reality show!
