With much speculation around who would appear in the Sinister Six movie and what the villains would be doing, it seems like Spider-Man himself could be facing each member in the movie, or at least that's what the actor is hinting at.

'Amazing Spider-Man 2' Villain May Be Cut Out Of 'Sinister Six'

The Amazing Spider-Man star Andrew Garfield spoke with The Toronto Sun on Monday about the Sinister Six movie and his excitement to have Drew Goddard involved with the project.

"I know more than I'm allowed to say right now," Garfield said. "I can say I'm really excited about Drew Goddard, who's going to be writing and directing The Sinister Six movie. And whether I'm involved in that or not is kind of immaterial."

Garfield heralded Goddard's other feature film as something for fans to get excited about with the Sinister Six, but was coy as to him being involved again.

"I don't know if I should say anything right now. But Drew is really exciting. Did you see Cabin in the Woods? Did you like it?" Garfield said. "Hence, me not telling you s--- about that."

With the villains teaming up, it was thought that Garfield may show up as Spider-Man to fight the bad guys in a sort of level system with him ending at Doctor Octopus and Garfield seems to know now whether that is the case.

Either way, being in this movie with the focus on the villains could allow the actor to get a Spider-Man movie in without the major commitment of being in every scene.

Sinister Six is set to hit theaters on November 6, 2016.
