Apryl Jones of VH1's Love & Hip Hop Hollywood has opened up about her struggle with Omarion's mom and whether the two have been able to get along.

Jones said that while his mother, Leslie, was protective of Omarion in the recent stages in their relationship, she understands her methods now that she is mom herself.

"I get where she's coming from. I understand it's not easy. When she was 16 and she birthed Omarion. Maybe before I was a mother I didn't get it," she told Mercedeh Allen of Global Grind earlier this month (featured below). "But now that I'm a mom now I get how she can have that temperament with him and feel the way that he does."

She went on to say that while they might have had their differences, they might as well get used to one another being around because both of them will be in Omarion's life for the long haul.

"We just have to learn to get along. And that's just it. That's what it is."

Jones and the former B2K star also spoke on the drama that goes on between their fellow co-stars.

Omarion said, "Watching the first episode I was pretty excited and ecstatic. I really see a lot of authenticity."

He added that even though other Love & Hip Hop franchises might be known for their "ratchet" drama, he hopes he and his cast mates can portray true love in the African American community.
