Tamar Braxton has revealed why she and her husband Vincent Herbert do not have a prenuptial agreement just days before their third season premiere of Tamar & Vince on WeTV.

It's not often in Hollywood you see a couple who has decided not to get prenuptial agreements to protect themselves should the marriage end.

But Braxton made it clear that she and Vincent Herbert, who has managed the likes of Lady Gaga, did not want to sign those papers.

On her newest venture as talk show host of The Real, the Love & War singer broke down their logic to her co-hosts and fans.

"At the end of the day, my parents built what they have now together. I think I took that into my own marriage. Vincent and I, we don't have a prenup because when we got married, we had a discussion and we discussed it. Divorce is not an option. So, that will always be the last, last, last, last of the resort."

This definitely puts a fork in any speculation the couple will get a divorce, but even though she and Herbert she said it only makes sense for megastars like Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon to get a prenup.

"I think that when you have the kind of shiny, old coins that Mariah has -- she has some old crinkled up 100 dollar bills that we ain't seen in 30 years -- you kinda have to protect yourself. Not saying that Nick is a gold-digger; he's not a gold-digger at all...he's not that kind of dude, but when you got the kinda wealth as Mariah, you kinda have to protect yourself."

Check out what else she and her co-hosts had to say on the topic. Tamar & Vince returns to WeTV October 23 at 10/9c.
