It is being reported that Bachelorette's Emily Maynard was getting intimate with the show's runner-up Arie Luyendyk just a couple days before Jef Holm had popped the magical question, according to US Weekly sources.

Although the newly engaged mom had previously stated that she was opposed to overnight dates because she's "a mother and a role model," the hookup still allegedly happened in the fantasy suite. Fiancé Holm was said to be livid and in shock as he was the one who received the last rose in the very same week.

One of the sources had the following to say regarding the controversial outcome that took place off the air:

"He stormed off," the source said.  "He screamed, 'You just slept with me!'  It wasn't shown on TV."

In Maynard's semi-defense, she was indeed indecisive between the final two, as another show source claimed "she was really in love with two good people. It wasn't clear cut."

Holm even had previously revealed himself that his budding romance with Maynard had "started off slowly."

On the July 22nd finale, Maynard told the 28 year-old Holm "You really are everything I've looked for."

Just a little later, he proposed to her via a 3.5-carat Neil Lane diamond ring and said "You are my soul mate."
