Mad Men finishes up its seventh and final season in early 2015 and while a spin-off for the AMC drama is not currently in the works, there's one person who would definitely be up for it if an offer arose.

On Thursday Elisabeth Moss sat down with Indiewire to discuss her upcoming film Listen Up Phillip, as well as her film career as while. Of course the actress eventually discussed playing Peggy Olson on the iconic AMC series and when asked if she'd ever consider a spin-off based on her character, Moss did not hesitate.

"Absolutely," she laughed. "One hundred percent. But only if it's written by [creator] Matt Weiner. That would be my one condition."

Moss thought about the idea a bit more, then revised the conditions under which she would return. "I do think we should get Joan in there," she insisted, referring to the character played by costar Christina Hendricks. "I feel like if there's going to be a spinoff, I'd really rather not carry that by myself, I think it should be Peggy and Joan."

Prior to casting of HBO's True Detective this year, there had been plenty of popular memes floating around of who would make a good detective pairing for the series. Surprisingly enough, Peggy and Joan were not popular among them. This is of particular note since Moss was at one time rumored to be up for a leading role on the drama.

"As far as I know I don't know anything about it," declared Moss of the rumor. "It's one of those really flattering things."

Unless a Peggy and Joan spin-off were to come to fruition, Mad Men fans won't see Olson returning the small screen anytime soon.

Mad Men will continue on AMC with the remainder of its seventh and final season in early 2015.
